Employment and Volunteer Opportunities

Upper Saucon Ambulance Corps employs experienced and competent PA DOH certified Emergency Medical Technicians, Paramedics, and Prehospital Registered Nurses.  We also have volunteer members that serve as auxiliary members and emergency responders.

ALS Providers

Part-time positions are available!

Benefits for part-time ALS providers include:

Requirements for ALS providers:

  • PA DOH EMT-Paramedic or Health Professional

  • Experience as ALS provider in 911 (emergency) setting

  • CPR / AED

  • PALS

  • ACLS

  • EVOC / EMSVO

  • NIMS 100

  • NIMS 700

  • HazMat R&I

  • Pass background/physical following employment offer

 

BLS Providers

Volunteers

We always welcome volunteers!  We seek associate members and emergency responders who may or may not have experience. We hold fundraisers and events throughout the year where associate members can work with others from our community to help the corps.

Benefits for volunteer emergency responders include:

Paramedics and PHRNs should list additional certifications, such as PALS and ACLS, in the training section.

 

All applicants will undergo a review of their application, background review, and past employment history.  This review and approval process may take several weeks to complete.

 

Following an offer of employment, criminal and driving history checks will be performed.  Candidates must also complete drug and physical screenings.  Employees are subject to drug testing.​
