Upper Saucon Township is a Second Class Township with approximately 12,000 residents and is just under 25 square miles.  It is located just south of the cities of Allentown and Bethlehem, an area commonly referred to as the Lehigh Valley.  Philadelphia is just about an hour away by car.  New York City is approximately 1.5 hours away.  Major thoroughfares include Interstate 78, Route 145, Route 309 and Route 378.

The area has residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial areas.  Several well known corporations such as Lutron Electronics and Olympus America have corporate headquarters in Upper Saucon Township.  DeSales University also has their main campus in Upper Saucon.
